Morning Announcements

Wrestling packets are now available in the main office.  All students 6-8 grade are eligible to join.  7th and 8th graders must have a sports physical on file.  The first practice will be on January 2nd.  If you have any questions, please see Coach Benjamin or Coach Mahr.

The Giving Tree is now in the office, where you can still check out a tag. The holiday season is a perfect time to reflect on our blessings and seek out ways to make life better for those around us.

OBOB is right around the corner!  If you signed up or are interested in being part, please come to an informational meeting in the library today. It will be at 2:45 and should be done by 3:00. You do NOT need to have a team to participate; we will help you find one. Mark your calendars and bring questions! We’ll see you on Wednesday with more details.

8th Graders: There is still time left to sign up for the 8th grade East Coast Trip to New York City and Washington DC! The first deadline to sign up is November 30th, but families can still sign up online after the 30th. If you are already signed up for the trip, Ms. Kasler challenges you to convince one friend to come with you! For more information, please see Ms. Kasler or Mr. Devereux.

Are you wondering what Holi-grams are and when they are happening?  Here’s the scoop.  Holi-grams are greeting cards that you make and we deliver to your friends, after we add a sweet treat to it. This year every time you donate a dollar you get TWO Holi-grams.   All the money from Holi-grams will be used to help Crossler families.    One more great twist.  Every time you donate a dollar at the Holi-grams station you will put your name on a heart that will be put on the window trees.  The grade who donates the most money will get released from class early for the Activities day on December 15th.  One week from today you can purchase a Holi-gram before and after school at the front counter.

Bottom line….  Donate a dollar you get two Holi-grams for us to send to friends,  plus your name goes on the window trees, The grade who donates the most gets to party sooner.  But most importantly, Crossler families get the help they need.
