Key Important Dates and School Information
Dear Students and Parents,
The school year is fast approaching and we can't to welcome our students back! We have been working very hard to make sure it will be another wonderful and successful year! With the start of any school year it brings new beginnings and new opportunities. We still have more work to do and are busy planning and preparing for the 2024-2025 school year. You will find key information that will be helpful for this upcoming year below.
Important Dates:
- September 3rd- First day of school for 6th graders ONLY
- September 4th- First day of school for 7th & 8th graders (and our 6th graders, too!)
- September 12th- AVID family night- 5:00pm- 5:30pm
- For all AVID elective students- Come meet your AVID family.
- September 12th- Back to School Night- 5:30pm-6:30pm
- Please come and briefly meet our school principal, assistance principal, counselors, social worker and your student's teacher. You will also have the chance to see our school!
- September 17th- Picture Day!
- All students will take a photo at this time but there is no obligation to purchase. Photo packets will go home with students if you plan on purchasing.
- November 1st- Picture Retake Day.
Fall Sports Important Dates:
- Football Season (Boy & Girls 7th-8th graders) August 26th, 2024- October 30th, 2024
- Cross Country Season (Open to all graders) September 9th, 2024- October 14th, 2024
- Girls Volleyball (7th-8th graders) October 14th, 2024- December 4th, 2024- (Camp October 7th-October 10th)
Other Important Information:
- Students will receive their schedules on the FIRST day of school.
- All students will receive FREE breakfast and lunch, no applications needed.
- PE shirts- We will NOT be selling specific PE shirts this year. Your student will need a black, gray or green t-shirt for any Trimester when they have PE.
- Yearbooks- Will be sold by PRESALE ONLY this year. Please use our payment portal. Yearbooks will be $20 each and the deadline to purchase will be February 28th, 2025.
- Lockers- If your student will like to use a locker this year, please fill out our locker agreement and request form.
- Lockers will be distributed during the first couple weeks of school being back in session.
- One student per locker.
