National Junior Honor Society

Hello, Crossler Middle School parents!

On Thursday, October 17th or Friday, October 18th, eligible seventh and eighth graders were invited to join the Crossler Middle School chapter of National Junior Honor Society. These students had a cumulative average of 3.5 or above for the 2018-2019 school year, had no disciplinary referrals, and had 90% attendance or better. Your student may have received the invitation packet and application in either their seventh or first period teacher’s class.

If you believe your student was eligible for an invitation but did not receive one, please have them check with their first and seventh period teachers, and then check with Ms. Rutkowski in room 206 to determine if there was an error in distributing packets. Current members (inducted in sixth or seventh grade) did not need to be invited again because they are still members.

Current sixth graders will be eligible for invitation in the spring; students must be enrolled at Crossler for one full semester before they can be considered for induction.

We look forward to receiving many applications from students by Friday, November 1. Over 150 students at Crossler were invited this fall!

Thank you,

Mrs. Shingleton and Ms. Rutkowski
