In April Students Will Be Back in Classrooms

Dear Crossler Community,

We are so excited to finally bringing students back into our classrooms in April. During the many weeks we have been preparing classrooms, placing signage, adding sanitizing stations, and reimagining what school looks like for the remainder of the year.

In the coming weeks we will be adding to our website and increasing communication around hybrid learning. Starting the week of April 13th, students will come in to the building on their assigned cohort day (either Tuesday/Thursday or Wednesday/Friday) and attend all of their classes. Monday will remain available for student support, family engagement, and teacher planning.

Beginning the week of March 15, the Salem-Keizer School District will host a series of live family events in Zoom. During these events, we will go over details about hybrid learning for secondary students while providing families the opportunity to ask questions and prepare to start hybrid learning.

These are the dates and times for these meetings. Please click on the link at the time of the meeting.

We want to continue to create the safest environment for your child and we have created a survey that will allow you to voice your questions, concerns, and so that we may create safe protocols for in person learning. Click to take the Survey.

We look forward to actually seeing everyone back in person!

Mr. Schiefer
Crossler Principal
