Friday, June 7th

There is still time to purchase your yearbook before the end of the year.  Yearbooks will be passed out on Wednesday, June 12.  They are $20, so stop by the main office and buy yours today!

We are holding an art contest to redesign the front cover of the planner! Students going INTO 7th or 8th grade may submit a drawing, either physical or digital. The drawing should be 8inches x 8inches at the largest, and may contain color. School appropriate designs will be submitted for peer vote. Today is the last day you can drop off your design in the office or Mr. Erdmans.

Please check your school email accounts for overdue book notices from the library. All books must be turned in by the last day of school to avoid fines. If you are unsure if you have overdue books please check with Mr. Schaeffer in the library.

iPads and Chromebooks are due today!  Please return the iPad or Chromebook, chargers, cords, keyboards and cases with the Check in slip to Room 210 or Room 109.  If there are questions, please talk to Mrs. Apodaca or Mrs. Taylor.

The spring photography contest runs until TODAY. Make sure you have a nice printed copy that you can turn into the office. Pictures will be displayed in the commons and voted on Monday.  Please submit your original photographs only.

Congratulations to all who have reported their reading in the 40 Book Challenge.  All participants will celebrate their efforts with an end-of-year treat and free books for those who read 30 or more books.  Be sure to submit your 40 Book Challenge form to Mr. Schaeffer in the library by Thursday, June 6th to qualify.

Attention all 6th and 7th graders!!!!  It is time to start thinking about football next year.  To start you off on the right foot, sign up for our FREE football camp!  The camp is held NEXT WEEK, May 28-30 from 3:00 to 4:30.  All you need are football cleats and workout clothes.  To sign up, please stop by the main office for a flier to register online.  Please see Coach Benjamin or Coach Saunders if you have any questions.

Attention all 7th graders, it is your time to start thinking about your 8th grade trip to Washington DC and New York City for the summer of 2020. Ms. Kasler is holding an informational meeting TODAY at 6pm in her classroom. Bring your parents to learn more about this once in a lifetime opportunity!
